World Conditions Foretell Messiah’s Coming

It’s not blind faith to believe in Messiah’s soon return. The Bible records many signs of His coming; they’ll occur “in divers places” (Matthew 24:7). These signs will be evidenced in the political, economic, scientific and religious worlds, thus making it possible for the whole of Society to be aware of earth’s closing events.

INITIAL QUESTIONS
When the disciples came to Yahushua asking for global signs of His return, what was His answer?
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. [Luke 21:25-27]

What three signs were to appear in the sky before the return of Messiah?
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. [Matthew 24:29, 30]

WORLD CONDITIONS
Political Conditions
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars […] for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. [Matthew 24: 6, 7]

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. [Revelation 11:18]

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up […] Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of YHWH is near the valley of decision. [Joel 3:9, 14]

[…] for when they shall say, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction cometh upon them. [1 Thessalonians 5:2, 3]

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, “Peace, peace; when there is no peace”. [Jeremiah 6:14]

Economic Conditions
Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth; and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. [James 5:1-4]

He that trustest in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. [Proverbs 11:28]

But after thy hardness and impenitant heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God. [Romans 2:5]

Scientific Discoveries
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. [Daniel 12:4]

During the period of the end, people would simultaneously begin to understand the prophecies of Daniel along with discovering great scientific knowledge (e.g., inventions of railway, automobiles, airplanes, rockets, telegraph, television, telephone, radio, computers, space stations…).

Religious Sector
Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. [1 Timothy 4:1, 2]

Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am YHWH your God. [Leviticus 19:31]

And Jesus answered them and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you […] and many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many […] For there shall be false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [Matthew 24:4, 5, 11, 24]

State of Disbelief
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. [2 Peter 3:3, 4]

Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it! [Isaiah 5:19]

Sin and Sinfulness
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such, turn away. [2 Timothy 3:1-5]

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. [Jude 16]

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptious are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. [2 Peter 2:9, 10]

A Lack of Faith and Love
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? [Luke 18:8]

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [Matthew 24:12]
